DBasia.news – PFC Barcelona still lead the LaLiga table with 37 points, despite the two failures and four draw results.
Besides the players’ consistency, tactic, and strategy from Ernesto Valverde as the team manager are also great. During his debut, the former Athletic Bilbao coach delivered Barca winning LaLiga and Copa del Rey.
But, apparently, the club would face a difficult situation. Apparently, Valverde’s contract would end this season and there’s no update of his contract renewal. Moreover, the 54-year-old man also refused to talk about his future.
Now, bad news for Blaugrana fans, Ernesto Valverde dropped that hint that he might leave Camp Nou soon next season.
“I do not know what I will do next season. In this football, who knows? We all know how things are. I never think long or long-term,” Valverde said cited by Goal.
“For us, two months are a very long term. If you win a game, everyone is happy and if you lose, everyone is watching you,” he added.
Not only dropping the hint that he might leave, but Valverde also stated that he would focus to realize the next target.
“If you do not win the league, everyone looks at the coach because it is marked like that. I try to meet the objectives and, of course, how much we have left, so let’s see it,” the Spaniard concluded.
