Factors Behind Liverpool’s Quiet Transfer

DBasia.news –  Liverpool have only brought in one player in the transfer market this summer. Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool manager, revealed the reasons for the club’s lack of transfer because of several considerations.

Liverpool choose to move aggressively in the transfer market last season. The Reds spend 177 million pounds to get new players like Alisson Becker and Fabinho. As a result, Liverpool won the Champions League title.

However, a different face can be seen from Liverpool’s movements in the current transfer market. The Reds have only caught one young player from the Zwolle PSC, Sepp van den Berg.

Jurgen Klopp revealed, Liverpool did take a different strategy in the transfer market this summer. Because the Reds do not have enough financial strength.

“It’s not easy. I said last year to improve the quality of the team would not be easy just by making a reasonable capital fund. With big money, you can always do it,” Klopp said as proclaimed by Liverpool Echo.

“We are not a club like that. We can’t do that. We are enough, but we cannot follow what some other teams do. That’s how it is.”

“However, we don’t have to do it. We have to find a solution during this season. Yes, you sometimes find a way out in the transfer market and we have done it. We don’t have to name the players, everybody knows,” Klopp explained.

“However, if not, we have to find a solution at the practice site. That’s what we do now,” Klopp continued.

Jurgen Klopp did not dismiss if Liverpool were looking for players who deserve to be brought in. However, if until the transfer market closes the Reds still have not found the player, he was not disappointed.

“We are still looking for. However, this will not be the biggest transfer market for Liverpool. We will see what can be done. It’s about using the team,” Klopp said.

“In the transfer market, you have to build a team based on this season, and I already have it. If bringing other players will make it better, we will see.”

“However, if not, this team is ready. We also have to find a solution at a different time,” commented the manager.
