Failed to Beat Huesca, Vidal Says the Barca Player’s Mind is Focused on Man United

DBasia.news – Playing at Huesca’s headquarters in the continuation of week 32 of La Liga, Barcelona failed to win and had to settle for playing a goalless draw against the team that is at the bottom of the standings.
Performing a large rotation and giving the opportunity to appear in several young players, Blaugrana failed to take advantage of a number of goal opportunities even though actually mastering the course of the match.
After the match, one of the team midfielders, Arturo Vidal then revealed what made his team fail to pick the full points. According to the former Bayern Munich player, the minds of the Barcelona players are already in the next match, namely the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Manchester United.
“The team that played in today’s match is far different than usual. Players who are revealed are those who rarely get the chance to appear, but they are also able to perform quite well,” Vidal said as quoted by Sport English.
“Luckily we did not lose. But all the players seemed to have thought about the match against Manchester United. Either the ones taking part in this match or the players who are rested,” he added.
A draw against Huesca did not affect the position of Ernesto Valverde’s squad in the standings, they remain firm in the top position with a collection of 74 points.
The match against Manchester United will be held at Camp Nou, Wednesday (17/4) WIB. Barca only need to target a draw if they want to qualify for the next round, considering that in the first leg they won 1-0 through an own goal scored by Luke Shaw.
