First leg of the Last 16 Champions League, Real Madrid is victorious at Ajax Amsterdam Headquarters

DBasia.news – Visiting Johan Cruyff Arena, Ajax Amsterdam’s headquarters, Real Madrid won 2-1 in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 on Thursday (14/2) early morning Western Indonesian Time. The result is keeping the chance for El Real qualifying to the last eight more open.

Marco Asensio who entered in the 73rd minute became a Real Madrid hero. The Spanish player scored the Los Merengues winning goal 10 minutes after replacing Karim Benzema.
A score of 2-1 for Real Madrid’s victory lasted until the long whistle signaled the end of the match. Santiago Solari’s side have a two-goal advantage over Ajax.
In another match, Tottenham crushed Borussia Dortmund 3-0. The three goals of The Lilywhites were presented by Son Heung-min, Jan Vertonghen, and Fernando Llorente.
