Former Manchester United defender Call Jamie Vardy Better than Harry Kane
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker said if he was a coach he would prefer Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy over Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. Parker thought that Vardy was far better than Kane.
“I would rather play Jamie Vardy on my team than Harry Kane because I know what my team will get at the weekend,” Parker said as quoted by Talksport, Tuesday (12/10/2019).
“Put him (Vardy) there and you will know he will make a bad ball into a beautiful goal. The point is I prefer playing with Vardy,” added Parker.
Parker said that Vardy has a good mentality as a striker despite being under great pressure to score goals. Despite being 32 years old, Vardy is like a young striker who is hungry for goals.
“I see him as a striker who is ready to continue to score goals despite getting considerable pressure from the opposing defender,” Parker said.
“I think he works well with the current coach. He really respects his coach,” concluded Parker.
