Frank Lampard able to Revive Philipe Coutinho
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Chelsea are reportedly one step away from being able to obtain Philippe Coutinho’s services from Barcelona on loan. The Blues manager, Frank Lampard is considered capable of making Coutinho show his strength again.
According to a report from the Mirror, Frank Lampard has reportedly agreed with the Blues’ discourse to bring in Coutinho. In its report, Mirror stated that Lampard was confident that Coutinho could make a consistent return to appear in England.
At present, Coutinho’s future is still in question. The reason is, the player did not receive a place in the Azulgrana first team and will not be made permanent by Bayern Munich in the upcoming transfer market.
According to reports from Sport, Barcelona is ready to lend Coutinho to Chelsea with an obligation to purchase when his loan period is over. Sport also reported that the Blues must disburse funds of 70 million Euros to make Coutinho permanent.
Barcelona insisted on including the obligation to purchase Coutinho for anyone who wants to borrow him. Azulgrana did not want to repeat Bayern Munich’s case, which was reluctant to keep Coutinho.
Since leaving Liverpool in 2018, Philippe Coutinho has struggled to appear consistent with Barcelona. During one and a half seasons defending Azulgrana, he was only able to record 21 and 11 assists from 76 appearances.
At Bayern, Coutinho’s performance began to improve with a record of nine goals and eight assists from 32 appearances. However, he still struggled to appear consistent in Germany.
