Frank Lampard: The Possibility of Moses Leaving, The Arrival of Edinson Cavani Is Difficult

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  The Blues, Chelsea, are still cool in the winter transfer market. Chelsea are reportedly interested in bringing Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani to Stamford Bridge. Edinson Cavani himself will end his contract at the end of this season.

Chelsea are looking for strikers who can supervise and reduce the responsibilities that burden young attackers Tammy Abraham and competitors for Michy Batshuayi. Chelsea will make room for the new striker because Olivier Giroud will go on sale this January.

Inter Milan are loyal consumers of Chelsea players because they want Giroud and Victor Moses, Chelsea players who have returned from their loan spells at Fenerbahce. Lampard confirmed the existence of the negotiation process with the Nerazzurri.

“With Oli (Giroud) there is not much to say. As for Moses, he is returning (to Chelsea) with the view that he will go to another club. Talks are ongoing (between Chelsea and Inter Milan),” Lampard explained.

When asked about the rumors of Cavani’s arrival, the Chelsea legend could only respond with praise that the Uruguayan bomber was an experienced and qualified striker. Lampard does not know whether the club can bring it or not.

“He (Cavani) is a great player. But I’m not sure, the situation is difficult. He has experience, but many players are also experienced,” Frank Lampard said on the issue of Edinson Cavani’s arrival, quoted from Goal.

Enthusiast Edinson Cavani is not only Chelsea but also Manchester United and Atletico Madrid. Leonardo, PSG’s Sports Director, confirmed the existence of a bid proposal from Atletico Madrid.

“We always say the same thing to Cavani. We hope he will stay at the club. Today, he asked to go (submit a transfer request). We studied the situation,” Leonardo said some time ago.

“We have a proposal from Atletico Madrid. We don’t have a proposal worth the price of a player. But I’m not sure Cavani will be here in February.”

“Today, nothing can be said (Cavani will leave). However, he proposed to leave. We never thought of selling him before.”

“We have to see how he is doing in the next few days, but we we listen to Cavani because we respect him. Now it’s a little clearer, with him at the end of his contract,” concluded Leonardo.
