DBasia.news – Manchester United surprised the public when making a dramatic comeback against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the last 16 of the Champions League. Fred, Man United midfielder, is optimistic that his team will advance to the final.
Manchester United escaped the pinhole after a 3-1 win over PSG in the 2018-2019 Champions League last 16 second leg match, at Parc des Princes Stadium, Thursday (7/3) WIB. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are superior to away goal productivity.
Manchester United’s three goals were scored by Romelu Lukaku (2 ‘, 30’) and Marcus Rashford (90 + 4 ‘). Meanwhile, one home goal was created by Juan Bernat Velasco in the 12th minute.
The escape of Manchester United did not really become popular before the game. Understandably, David De Gea and his mates lost 2-0 in the first match. But now, Man United began to be included in the list of champion candidates.
“It’s amazing. We played a great match. PSG is a very good team, but we always believe it. We know it will be challenging, but still work hard and look for victory until the end of the game,” said Fred as reporte from Four Four Two.
“We started with a lot of pressure because we lost 2-0 at home. In addition, we had to find a victory and score quickly. Fortunately, we managed to score in the second minute. However, unfortunately we conceded after that.”
“We remain calm on the field to win until the end of the match. PSG is a great team with experienced players and young players too,” commented Fred.
“We have a team that can advance to the final. We know it will be difficult, but we want to win and believe we can finally do it,” he added.
One of the figures who deserves appraisial is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Under the care of the manager, Manchester United have only swallowed one defeat.
