DBasia.news –  There is no agreement between Eintracht Frankfurt and Real Madrid regarding Luka Jovic. This was confirmed by Fredi Bobic, Frankfurt Sports Director.

Media in Spain had previously believed Madrid reached an agreement with Frankfurt to bring Jovic to 60 million euros. The 21-year-old striker from Serbia will come in the 2019 summer transfer market.

Jovic has been the center of attention for the scout guides of Europe’s top clubs this season because of their great performances with Frankfurt. 26 goals from 44 appearances in all competitions helped Frankfurt compete on the top of the Bundesliga, and reached the Europa League semifinals.

However, no transfers have been completed. Bobic insisted that Jovic was still a Frankfurt and Madrid player not contacting his club at all to complete the transfer of the former Benfica player.

“There is no contact with Real Madrid. For the first time, I don’t need to lie for a reason, they really haven’t made any contact. I know them very well,” Bobic said, as quoted by Goal.

Madrid does need a new striker as they are too dependent on French striker, Karim Benzema. Without Benzema, if he is absent due to injury or card accumulation, Madrid does not have other options with the same quality as he is.
