By db-admin

DBasia.news – The appearance of Manchester United goalkeeper is currently in the spotlight.  Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea is still the number one goalkeeper of the Red Devils selected by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but his performance has not been convincing lately.

De Gea’s declining performance raises the issue of United will call back Dean Henderson who appeared impressive during the last two seasons with Sheffield United as a loan player.  If so, what will happen to Sergio Romero?

Without undermining the role of Lee Grant who might retire or go to another club because of his status as goalkeeper number three, there is still Sergio Romero whose quality is not very bad.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper has defended United from 2015 after being recruited by Louis van Gaal from Sampdoria.  Despite being in the shadow of De Gea, Romero is an experienced goalkeeper who can be relied upon when playing.

Argentine national team goalkeeper with a record 96 caps often rotated in European competition, FA Cup and League Cup.  However, this situation changed immediately when United lost 1-3 to Chelsea in the FA Cup semifinals.

Instead of playing Romero it was reserved for Solskjaer when De Gea’s performance declined.  Sure enough two blunders did result in goals and United lost.

As a result of the news that is summarized from Mirror Racing Academy academy products it asks for clarity about the status of Man United.  Especially if it’s true that the club will repatriate Dean Henderson this summer.

As Villarreal and Real Sociedad’s interest in Romero, the goalkeeper asked for clarity from United in order to make a decision.  During the defense of Man United Sergio Romero has won an FA Cup, League Cup, Community Shield and Europa League titles.
