DBasia.news – Rafael van der Vaart believes that Gareth Bale feels lonely at Real Madrid. This is considered to be one of the factors that causes Bale’s struggle.
In Real Madrid’s last two matches, Gareth Bale always started the match on the substitute bench.
The future of the players who were brought in from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 along with the team nicknamed El Real also began to be questioned.
As a former fellow player of Rafael van der Vaart, he is quite familiar with Bale’s character who prefers to be alone. He also felt Bale might have difficulties with Madrid in Spain.
“He is a quiet player and wants to be alone. “He doesn’t have much contact with his team-mates,” Van der Vaart said.
“In Spain, it’s important to speak Spanish. I think he is quite lonely in the team, “he said.
This season Bale has scored 13 goals in 31 El Real matches. His contract at Santiago Bernabeu will end in 2022.
