DBasia.news –  Praise was given by Marco Verratti, PSG midfielder, to his team mate, Neymar. In addition to giving him credit, Verratti also hopes Neymar will stay in Paris.

Neymar was absent when Paris Saint-Germain won 3-0 against Nimes in the inaugural match of Ligue 1, at the Parc des Princes, Sunday (11/8). Although not being there, Neymar was taunted by supporters throughout the match.

PSG supporters were reportedly disappointed with Neymar’s attitude during the 2019 summer transfer window. Reportedly, the Brazilian national team player forced to leave.

“I did not listen to that. Supporters can say what they think,” explained Marco Verratti as reported by L’Equipe.

“We are very close to Neymar. He is a player who has given a lot of things to Paris. Last year, he scored at important moments,” said the Italian national team player.

“After he played, we only talked about him because he is an extraordinary player that excites everyone. I think it’s better if everything is clear.”

Neymar suffered a long injury last season. However, the 27-year player scored 23 goals plus 13 assists in various events.

“The matter of him staying or leaving, these are things that will be discussed with the club. However, I want him to stay here,” added Verratti.

The two clubs who are most likely to bring in Neymar are Real Madrid and Barcelona. Latest news have stated that El Real is willing to give out 150 million euros plus Luka Modric.
