Harry Kane to England: Let’s Come Around Again

DBasia.newsEngland national team captain, Harry Kane, see the positive side of The Three Lions loss 1-2 from Croatia during the semifinal round of 2018 World Cup in Luzhniki Stadium, Wednesday (11/7). Kane assumed, England still has a bright future.

England was winning at first through Kieran Trippier free kick goal in 5′. But, Croatia made the comeback by Ivan Perisic (68′) and Mario Mandzukic (109′) goals

Though England failed to come to the final round, Kane still has the spirit. Moreover, in this edition, young players dominate Gareth Southgate squad.

“It’s been great to get to this stage and we know we’ve done everyone proud, but we wanted to go on and we wanted to win it,” said Kane reported by FIFA official site.

“It’s a great foundation we’ve built with the gaffer over the last couple of years and we just need to carry that on but we want more,” said Kane.

“We’re sad for the fans here and at home. We have to dust ourselves done and be proud of what we achieved and go again in a couple of years,” added the striker.

After the loss, England isn’t going home yet. Jordan Henderson and friends will compete for the third position versus Belgium in Saint Petersburg Stadium, Saturday (14/7). Both of the teams met during the group phase with 1-0 winning for Belgium.
