Harry Maguire Wants Manchester United to Record Clean Sheets

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Manchester United won a convincing 4-1 win over Newcastle United in the Premier League. Now, Harry Maguire hopes United can keep a clean sheet.

United won 4-1 over Newcastle United in the continued match of the English League at Old Trafford on Thursday (12/26/2019). In that match, the goals of the Red Devils were set by Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial (two goals) and Mason Greenwood.

Despite winning, Harry Maguire seemed less satisfied. He wants his team to be clean from opposing goals.

“We want to go back to clean sheets. We work hard to get a clean sheet. We didn’t miss a lot of chances in many matches, but that is something we will try to do. We will improve,” said Harry Maguire at Soccerway.

“Consistency is key. You have to unite the appearance, collect the victory. It’s important for you to keep running in this league. We haven’t really found the consistency to bring together three, four, five wins together. That is something we need to do.”

“We are a young team, we are learning, and there are positive things that can be taken from today, but now we focus on Saturday,” Harry Maguire added.

In the next match, Manchester United will travel to Burnley’s headquarters at Turf Moor. Victory becomes a fixed price to boost the position of the Red Devils in the Premier League standings.
