DBasia.news – Norwegian women’s soccer star Ada Hegerberg was the top scorer in the history of the Women’s Champions League when she contributed two goals to Lyon’s victory in the match against Danish club Hjorring.
The two goals extend Hegerberg’s record to a total of 53 goals in the tournament.
The 24-year-old player has equaled the 51-goal scoring record held by German player, Anja Mittag, in the first round of the last 16 match against the Danish club, which the defending champion won 4-0 earlier this month.
Hegerberg, who played her 50th match in the second leg of the competition on Wednesday, scored in the 12th minute and added her goal record for the second time that night.
