Hunted by Many European Clubs, Napoli Reluctant to Let Go of Kalidou Koulibaly

But now United’s hopes of getting Koulibaly’s signature are likely to be challenging to realize, Carlo Ancelotti as manager has confirmed that Napoli will not let the player go to Old Trafford.

“Napoli will not be forced to sell players. Kalidou Koulibaly will not leave,” Ancelotti said as quoted by the Daily Mail.

The Senegalese player’s performance this season was indeed quite good, Koulibaly is still an irreplaceable figure in Napoli’s defense and has appeared in 37 matches in all competitions. He also became an important figure behind the success of his team to occupy the position of two Serie A standings and advanced to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

Although it has been confirmed they will not let go of Koulibaly, this does not guarantee if Napoli will be able to defend the player, as the 27-year-old player is also included in the plans for spending Barcelona and Chelsea.
