Hunted by Many European Clubs, Napoli Reluctant to Let Go of Kalidou Koulibaly

Kalidou Koulibaly
DBasia.news – Even though in the last two games they have lost successively, Manchester United’s performance since being handled by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is good as they competed in the Champions League zone and penetrated the 2018/19 quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Despite appearing better, this did not necessarily make the club satisfied. Even Solskjaer has also confirmed if United will bring in some new players in the summer of 2019.
One sector that has been the main focus of course is the back line, especially this season David de Gea has been quite difficult to record a clean sheet and has conceded 40 goals in the Premier League competition. This then makes the Napoli defender, Kalidou Koulibaly reportedly entered the transfer radar.
Even the latest news says that IPartenopei has opened the opportunity to release the player if the club founded in 1878 was willing to spend around 130 million euros.
But now United’s hopes of getting Koulibaly’s signature are likely to be challenging to realize, Carlo Ancelotti as manager has confirmed that Napoli will not let the player go to Old Trafford.
“Napoli will not be forced to sell players. Kalidou Koulibaly will not leave,” Ancelotti said as quoted by the Daily Mail.
The Senegalese player’s performance this season was indeed quite good, Koulibaly is still an irreplaceable figure in Napoli’s defense and has appeared in 37 matches in all competitions. He also became an important figure behind the success of his team to occupy the position of two Serie A standings and advanced to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
Although it has been confirmed they will not let go of Koulibaly, this does not guarantee if Napoli will be able to defend the player, as the 27-year-old player is also included in the plans for spending Barcelona and Chelsea.
