DBasia.news – Real Madrid are still related to problems. Besides the absence of victory in 2019, the Champions League winner in three consecutive times also got the injuries.

Madrid official website released the statement about the Germany 29-year-old midfielder, Toni Kroos, who got a muscle injury in his left leg. Kroos might absent for two or three upcoming weeks.

“Following tests carried out on our player Toni Kroos today by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a grade 2 tear of the adductor muscle in his left leg. His recovery will be monitored,” the statement said.

Kroos’ injury added the list of Madrid players who entered the treatment room like Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio, Marcos Llorente, and Mariano Diaz. It’s the bad news for Santiago Solari.

Los Blancos really need their best squad to achieve the victory after the 2-2 draw result against Villareal and the 0-2 defeat against Real Sociedad in two consecutive matches.

Kroos would miss two big matches in the Copa del Rey against Leganes, the LaLiga matches against Real Betis and Sevilla, and Espanyol before Deportivo Alaves.

If he hasn’t recovered by February, the former Bayern Munchen player would miss the match against Atletico Madrid on February 9th, 2019, and also the match against Ajax Amsterdam in the knockout round of the Champions League.

Without Kroos, the option would be Casemiro, Dani Ceballos, Isco, and Federico Valverde because another place has been filled by Luka Modric.

It means Solari would play the modern 4-2-3-1 scheme by placing two pivot midfielders instead of the 4-3-3 scheme with three center midfielders. Another alternative is the classic 4-4-2 scheme.
