Injury has frustrated Pogba throughout This Season

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has only played eight matches in the 2019-2020 season. An injury to the right ankle prevented the French player to show off.

However, the unclear detail of the injury has caused unpleasant rumors. Pogba is considered to have deliberately been absent as he was disappointed to have fail to move last summer.

It’s no secret that Pogba is no longer at Old Trafford. He even expressed his intention to leave since the end of last season.

This was of course denied by Pogba. The 27-year-old player finally explained in detail the injury he experienced.

“So I had a leg injury, which occurred in the match against Southampton. It happened at the beginning of the season, but I held it for a while, trained and tried to keep playing,” Pogba said in the official Manchester United podcast.

“After finally stopping, I realized that I had a broken leg bone. So I had to have surgery and now I don’t feel anything.”

Pogba has only appeared in the Premier League seven times this season. He last strengthened the Red Devils when they beat Newcastle United 4-1 on Boxing Day.

Pogba claimed the injury frustrated him. Therefore he wants to immediately return to the field.

“This makes me have a higher desire to go back and play well. It also proves how much my love for football is,” he concluded.
