Mauro Icardi’s problems continue to be linked to the current conditions of Inter Milan. That has made Javier Zanetti, Inter’s Vice President, feel embarrassed and have asked the club to focus on competing and not to be disturbed by the issue.
In the near future Inter will host Lazio in the 29th week of Serie A, Monday (1/4) at 1:30 a.m. WIB. Zanetti wants Inter to focus on preparing for the match and is not bothered by the Icardi issue.
“I think we are all talking too much about it (Icardi). Now, we have to focus on the match as right now the situation is fundamental towards the end of the season,” Zanetti said.
“We have a Champions League Qualification target, 10 games left and Sunday we meet direct rivals (Lazio). The team is preparing the best possible match with the coach,” continued the Inter living legend.
As is well known, Icardi no longer plays for Inter under the care of Luciano Spalletti since his captain’s ban was lifted and given to Samir Handanovic – related to the contract issue. The issue of his departure was heard because of the problem.
Just like Zanetti, Icardi’s teammate, Milan Skriniar, is also tired of listening to the issue of the Argentine striker. According to him, the question about the problem was better asked directly to Icardi.
“You should ask Icardi what happened. Of course, we, the player have no problem with him, so does he with us. It all depends on him to resolve the situation,” added Skriniar.
