DBasia.news – Giuseppe Marotta, CEO of Inter Milan, tried to explain the Nerazzurri situation in the transfer market this summer. According to him, Inter are ready to give Antonio Conte the players he wants.
Inter Milan are still hunting for new players. La Beneamata tried to grant Conte’s request that he wanted a new attacker. Understandably, at the International Champions Cup preseason, Inter did not have a qualified striker.
Reportedly, Inter are trying to bring in Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko. Although until now the negotiations are still difficult, but Inter promised to fulfill the coach’s wishes.
“Antonio Conte? Everyone is in the same mind as the club. Conte is asking for a lot of things from his players, that’s what makes him feel he needs to be as strong as possible as soon as possible,” said Marotta Calciomercato reported
However, Inter did not want to go back to repeating the hardest mistakes of the Financial Fair Play. That is why Inter cannot spend a lot of money in the transfer market.
“We are working on it because we also want to complete the transfer as soon as possible. We want to make the coach happy, but also have to respect FIFA regulations regarding the Financial Fair Play .”
“We just came out of it and don’t want to go back. We want to improve quality, but we also have to be smart,” added the high-ranking official.
“Transfer market? We want to bring in two new attackers. One player younger and the other experienced.”
“To this day, we only have Lautaro Martinez because Keita Balde and Mauro Icardi are not part of the plan. We are monitoring many players, so we see what will happen,” he explained.
Inter Milan will face Juventus in the International Champions Cup match. at the Nanjing Sport Center, Wednesday (24/7). Previously, the Nerazzurri were bent by Manchester United with a score of 1-0.
