DBasia.news – Philippe Coutinho agreed to move from Barcelona to Bayern Munich. Believed by Robert Lewandowski, the 27-year-old player will have no difficulty adapting to the Bayern game.
Coutinho was loaned by Bayern for a season with a permanent option at the end of the contract. Coutinho became the fifth Bayern player to be recruited this summer after Benjamin Pavard, Lucas Hernandez, Jann-Fiete Arp, and Ivan Perisic.
Coutinho’s departure had been predicted. His performance has not developed since joining from Liverpool in January 2018. Lewandowski believes Coutinho will have no difficulty playing at Bayern, even though he has not mastered German and has never played there.
“I think he (Coutinho) does not need much time to adapt to the playing system and our ideas. I think he is the type of player who can adapt without having many problems,” Lewandowski said about Coutinho, quoted by Goal.
Coutinho could be a substitute for James Rodriguez in the role of regulator of attacks at Bayern. His position is an attacking midfielder but he can also play as a wing striker.
