James Rodriguez Unprofessional

DBasia.news –  Real Madrid attacking midfielder James Rodriguez is considered unprofessional by former Colombian national team doctor Hector Fabio Cruz. James is considered more concerned with hairstyle and eyebrows rather than maintaining physical fitness.

The future fate of James was questioned in Madrid following the issue of leaving because Zinedine Zidane had rarely played before. Moreover, in the last two seasons, the former Porto and Monaco player was loaned out to Bayern Munich. 

However, according to Cruz, that’s not all the problem about the 28-year-old player. Cruz saw James as a player who did not focus on preparing various things, especially just before the new season in the preseason.

“He (James) did not focus. Instead of working for the new season, James instead arranged his eyebrows and hair, he should have worked,” said Cruz, quoted by Marca. 

“Large teams like Madrid expect professionalism, who will prepare, but he has bad thoughts,” he continued.

“A player who spends a month away from the field and goes from one club to another, how can he survive there? He survived at first, but if he is prepared properly then he will not suffer like this. I have predicted him because he does not work.”

Cruz even compared the Colombian national team midfielder to the Madrid legend who now strengthens Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo, from the professional aspect.

“Cristiano was on a week’s vacation. He took a cruise with his family to Greece and then in the following week he had 15 people preparing for the new season. He is the most professional player I know,” Cruz added.

“James left the World Cup (2018) injured, rented a private plane, went to the beach and relaxed. It can’t be like this,” he concluded.

The unfortunate fate of James continues in the 2019-20 season. Zidane had just relied on when playing against Real Valladolid last weekend in LaLiga, James returned to his right calf muscle injury and had to pull over for several weeks.
