When leaving Barcelona with the status of the most expensive player in the world, Neymar received scorn from Spain. The ex Santos is considered to be more concerned with money.
“We have worked a lot in LaLiga to maintain values and we do not want to change the image,” continued the president.
Javier Tebas did not dismiss that Neymar had an above average ability. However, he assessed the nature of the 27-year-old player can provide a bad example.
“He can be a great player, but his behavior is very important in the values that we convey in the competition. If he conveys bad behavior off the field, I would rather not have him return to LaLiga as it is not a good example.”
Neymar is indeed a player who often invites controversy. Most recently, the megastar was facing a rape case.
