DBasia.news – Inter Milan vice president, Javier Zanetti confirmed that there were no conversations with Barcelona regarding Lautaro Martinez. The Argentine player was previously the target of Barca in the transfer market this summer.

However, in an interview with Libero on TyC Sports, Zanetti denied the rumors. “In his case, being a young player with such potential, it’s only natural for other teams to see him,” Zanetti said as quoted by Marca, Wednesday (9/9).

“But what I see every day as a Lautaro who wants to stay in Italy. At the moment, there are no negotiations between Inter and Barcelona,”

Zanetti said Inter still needs Lautaro and the player felt the same way, where Lautaro wants to be at Inter.

“We are happy with him and I know he is happy here too. He knows that he is at a great club and he is growing rapidly thanks to the coach (Antonio Conte),” he concluded.
