DBasia.news – Jesse Lingard, a Manchester United player, continues to recover from an injury that recurred against Liverpool in Week 26 of the Premier League, Sunday (24/2). However, Lingard won’t necessarily play in the next game against Crystal Palace.
Jesse Lingard is one of four players who received injuries in a Manchester United duel against Liverpool. The English player came in for the injured Juan Mata. However, 18 minutes later, Lingard was pulled out because of an injury.
Jesse Lingard’s condition in the last few games has indeed gone down. The player did not appear when Manchester United faced Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes that Jesse Lingard’s condition will gradually recover. As several other players like Mata, Ander Herrera, Marcus Rashford, Nemanja Matic to Anthony Martial are also entering the treatment room.
The wish of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still cannot be answered. Moreover, Jesse Lingard uploaded a photo at Old Trafford with the words “soon to return” and “repair and recovery”.
From these posts, Jesse Lingard seems unable to appear in the match against Crystal Palace, Wednesday (27/2) local time. Moreover, Manchester United did not want to risk losing the player longer.
Instead, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has summoned a number of young players to enter the squad that will travel to Palace headquarters. The players are James Garner, Angel Gomes, and Tahith Chong.
