DBasia.news – Just joined Real Madrid, Brahim Diaz criticized his former club, Manchester City. He thinks Madrid is the best team in the world.
Real Madrid announced the signing by their official website. Los Blancos signed him with a 17,3 million euro (Rp280 billion) transfer fee.
Brahim Diaz’s contract in Manchester City would end on June 30th, 2019. Actually, The Citizens have tried many things to keep him.
However, the lack of chance made Brahim Diaz chose to leave. No wonder, Manchester City have many top players in his position, the wing-forward.
Consequently, Brahim Diaz chose to join Real Madrid. Los Merengues promised the chance to play for the 19-year-old player.
“It’s a very special day for me and my family. It is a unique and unforgettable day. I’m very happy and eager to start playing games,” Brahim Diaz said on Madrid’s official website.
“I want to be successful here, play a big part and contribute to the team,” Brahim Diaz continued.
“I’m very grateful to Manchester City because they valued me, but I’m very happy at the best club in the world and I want to play a big part here. I really want to get started”.
Manchester City inserted a unique clause in the transfer. Real Madrid seem like forbidding Madrid to sell Diaz to the rival, Manchester United.
