Jordan Veretout Discusses Edin Dzeko’s Contract Extension

Edin Dzeko proves his loyalty to AS Roma. Had reportedly left, Dzeko finally signed a contract until 2022.

The fact that Roma’s management can keep Dzeko won praise from the Giallorossi’s new player, Jordan Veretout.

According to him the striker from Bosnia-Herzegovina is an important figure, both when on the field and in the dressing room.

“Dzeko’s contract extension is very crucial,” Veretout said during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport. 

“Edin is a great player. He staying in the team is the best decision he can make,” Veretout added.

Veretout also described the contract extension of Nicolo Zaniolo, Cengiz Under, and Federico Fazio as well as being crucial in the team’s journey in the 2019-20 season.
