DBasia.news – Mirror reported Manchester United aim West Ham United striker Marko Arnautovic to come to Old Trafford. Apparently, the request comes from Jose Mourinho.
Manchester United are preparing more than £50M offer for Arnautovic in the 2019 January transfer market. The Special One believes Arnautovic is the answer for The Reds attacking line.
Mourinho really sure about this because he once coached Arnautovic in Inter Milan 9 years ago even though at that time Arnautovic didn’t get the trust from Mourinho.
Mourinho thinks Arnautovic could be the alternative as Manchester United striker. Moreover, The Red Devils main striker, Romelu Lukaku, is in a difficulty.
Meanwhile, West Ham are rumored won’t release their prominent player. Arnautovic often becomes a decisive player in some matches.
“He is a West Ham player because he has a contract here, he is happy here,” said West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini.
“Every player always wants to play in the biggest team but I don’t think that Marko is thinking about that. He is thinking about West Ham and he tries to make his best performance in every game.”
On the other hand, Arnautovic’s agent, Danijel Arnautovic, said his brother needs to play in a top team. It makes The Red Devils’ chance to sign Arnautovic bigger.
West Ham spent £20M to sign Arnautovic from Stoke City in the previous transfer market. Currently, the 29-year-old player has scored 5 goals and 1 assist.
