Jose Mourinho and Roy Keane Talk about Manchester United

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Jose Mourinho (ex-Manchester United manager) and Roy Keane (ex-captain of Man United) both agree that the top four are the maximum targets for the Red Devils. Man United lost to West Ham United in Week six of the Premier League.

Manchester United pay a visit to London Stadium in the matchday six of the Premier League 2019-2020. Unfortunately, the Red Devils were beaten 2-0 at the trip.

The result left Manchester United stranded eighth in the Premier League standings. Paul Pogba and his friends are 10 points behind Liverpool.

These conditions create doubts for Jose Mourinho. In fact, Mourinho assesses that Manchester United will have difficulty ending the season in the top six of the final standings.

“In my opinion, Manchester United cannot end the season in the top two. Ranking four is the maximum for them and qualify for the Champions League,” said Jose Mourinho.

“Maybe I look like this situation, but I don’t. In my opinion, Manchester United will have difficulty not only being ranked fourth but also six,” he continued.

Jose Mourinho’s opinion was agreed by Roy Keane who had been the captain of the Red Devils. Keane assesses that Manchester United’s fourth-place is still open.

“Young players must realize they are playing for Manchester United. If someone says the fourth place is an achievement, he is not right,” said Roy Keane.

“To be honest I am not sure Manchester United can end the season in the last four. However, seeing Tottenham and Arsenal, the opportunity is still there. Manchester United can do it,” added Roy Keane.
