Jose Mourinho does not Close the Possibility to Train the National Team
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Jose Mourinho has not coached the club since being sacked by Manchester United in December 2018. In the future, The Special One does not close the opportunity to train the national team.
Throughout his coaching career which began in 2000, Mourinho has never coached the national team. His CV training at club level is very good because Mourinho, in total, has won 25 major trophies, including two Champions League titles.
The offer that went to Mourinho, which was signed by Jorge Mendes was quite a lot, but not all convinced the coach to re-train the club. Undoubtably, the 56-year-old coach began thinking about training at international level.
“I want to compete in new competitions. I think about the World Cup and European Cup,” Mourinho told Eleven Sports.
“For a long time I have always had the desire to try adventures like that. Right now, I look more at myself in the national team than with a new club. Is Portugal the right team for me? Not quite right.”
Nevertheless, the former Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Man United’s coach did not fully close the opportunity to train the club again. As long as there are projects that are quite convincing, Mourinho can re-train the club next season.
“Winning the fifth league title in a different country or the Champions League with the third club is what I want. I will not train just because of that. I only go for a project that convinces me,” added Mourinho.
“I want to be happy, I don’t have to always win, I want to be happy and I don’t accept proposals without being able to be sure first, that’s what I always think about.”
“That’s why if (the club) tells me ‘Today there are no conditions to guarantee success, but we want you to create conditions to win’, then I will consider it,” Mourinho explained.
