Jose Mourinho: One Player Is Fine

By news-admin

DBasia.news – Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho believed he can get another one new player before the end of transfer window. Actually, Mourinho wanted to add three new players into the team in this summer market.

During the preseason tour in the US, Mourinho often frustrated playing without some key players who were absent due to the 2018 World Cup. The players were still on holiday after playing in Russia.

Mourinho also complained about Manchester United’s passive act in the summer transfer market, especially after getting Fred and Diogo Dalot. The Portuguese coach was upset by The Red Devils’ slow move though he had submitted 5 targets.

Within this month, Man United were aiming Harry Maguire, Toby Alderweireld, Willian, and Ivan Perisic. The players believed will make The Red Devils able to compete with Manchester City.

But, Mourinho pessimists to get all his target.

“I think two is not what I will get. I think in every pre-season it happens basically the same with probably every club, which the manager wants more. It is our nature and our way to always want more for your team.”

“But club decisions are different. Normally you don’t get what you want which basically happened throughout my career. If I sign one player before the window closes, that’s fine,” Mourinho said.

Manchester United will start the 2018/2019 Premier League against Leicester City on August 10. In this tight schedule, Mourinho was also bothered by the fact that some players are still injured. Also, the players in the World Cup will absent in the first match.
