Juan Mata Does Not Want to Remember His Past with Chelsea
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata admits that he is still in relationships with several players at Chelsea. However, Mata does not want to be trapped by past stories.
Manchester United will host Chelsea in the 2020-2021 Premier League match, at Old Trafford Stadium, Saturday (24/10). The match was special for Juan Mata.
The Spanish player played for the Blues from 2011 to 2014. In that period, Mata won the Champions League, FA Cup and Europa League titles.
“I always feel special against Chelsea. I still have many friends there. I know Frank Lampard because he was a teammate,” said Mata as reported by MUTV.
“I know he is very good as a manager. Of course I also know him as a player,” said Mata.
Manchester United have the upper hand in this match. The Red Devils take on Chelsea after a fierce victory against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. Meanwhile, Chelsea was detained by Sevilla.
“The match will be difficult because Chelsea has many good new players. They have a deep squad so there are many players who can appear,” continued the player.
“We have to make sure we are ready to perform with the best performance as in the last two matches. If we appear like that, I believe we are close to winning.”
Manchester United are rumored to be able to play Mason Greenwood and Harry Maguire in the match. From the visitors’ camp, Hakim Ziyech was ready to appear from the early minutes.
