Julen Lopetegui Interested in Training a Premier League Club

DBasia.news –  Julen Lopetegui, a former Real Madrid coach, admitted he was interested in training the world’s best league club, the Premier League. According to him, the Premier League is inhabited by many great players and managers.

Julen Lopetegui was sacked by the Spanish national team ahead of the 2018 World Cup. The coach was considered unprofessional because he did not inform the Spanish football federation if he had signed a contract with Real Madrid.

Until now, Julen Lopetegui is still unemployed. The Spanish coach claimed to be interested in training a Premier League team.

“A coach must be open to choices in the future. However, if I can choose, I would rather be in the best league,” Lo Petegui told the BBC.

“England is a fantastic league. When watching matches in England, you can feel the atmosphere, respect for the players and coaches. This is very important. I want to feel that,” said the coach.

“Of course, Spain is also a fantastic league with great players and coaches. However, we will see how later,” added Lopetegui.
