Jurgen Klopp and Sadio Mane Set the Best Manager-Player Award in March

Klopp, 51, led Liverpool to win three consecutive Premier League matches in March against Burnley, Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur, after playing a goalless draw against Everton at Goodison Park in early March.

The German manager won the competition against Marco Silva, Ralph Hasenhuttl, Pep Guardiola, and Brendan Rodgers, in the category of Best Manager in March. Klopp won it for the second time this season – previously won in December.

While Mane scored three goals in four appearances in March. Senegalese wing striker scored twice when Liverpool won 4-2 against Burnley and also one goal in a 2-1 win against Fulham.

Mane won the Best Player award by beating Seamus Coleman, Bernardo Silva, Jamie Vardy, James Ward-Prowse and Andy Robertson. Mane has won it twice after first winning it in August 2017.
