DBasia.news – PSG and Manchester United get a fresh breeze from the news of Barcelona player Philippe Coutinho. The player will not return to Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool manager, has confirmed it.
Philippe Coutinho is rumored to have decided to leave Barcelona. He felt El Barca did not provide an opportunity to show off.
One of the clubs most likely to recruit the former Inter Milan is Liverpool. Coutinho is reportedly still feeling for the Reds.
However, Coutinho’s love was unrequited. Because of economic factors, Liverpool have no chance to bring home Philipe Coutinho.
“Overall, Philippe Coutinho can help every team in the world. He still has 100 percent ability. However, this is not about that,” Klopp explained as ESPN quoted.
“I like Coutinho. I think he is a fantastic footballer. However, it will be a super expensive transfer. This is not the year we will do that,” he continued.
“It’s not possible. As I said, recruiting will make the team better, including us. However, I hope he can find good luck in Barcelona.”
“Maybe also, he has found happiness there. We are still in touch, but not as close as I know what he is doing. I only know that from the media,” said the manager.
The rejection from Liverpool was good news for Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United. The two clubs also reportedly monitored Coutinho’s situation.
Barcelona is expected not to lose when selling Coutinho. The Blaugrana wants to get at least like the amount issued when bringing the player which is 142 million euros.
