DBasia.news –  Arsenal has bowed down at Anfield, Liverpool headquarters, in the continuing Week three of the Premier League, Saturday (8/24) WIB.

Playing in front of their own supporters, the Reds were able to dominate the match and win with a score that was convincing, 3-1. Three goals from the host was successfully scored by Joel Matip and Mohamed Salah who twice listed his name on the scoreboard, while the visitors were only able to reply through Lucas Torreira’s goal in the 85th minute.

Responding to the successful victory achieved by Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp could not contain his happiness. The German manager even felt satisfied and did not hesitate to praise the performance displayed by his foster children.

“I feel very happy with the performance displayed by Liverpool and really did not think if we would score a few goals in this match. The players managed to maintain consistency and appeared neatly in the last four matches,” Klopp stated as reported by the club’s official website.

“I really like the spirit, passion and energy displayed by the players in this match. It makes the opposing team feel uncomfortable when dealing with Liverpool and that’s what we really want,” added the 52-year-old manager.

The victory over Arsenal also feels special for Klopp, in eight meetings, the former Borussia Dortmund manager has never felt defeat, with details of five wins and three draws.

These three points further solidify Liverpool’s position at the top of the standings with a collection of nine points. After this match, they will immediately prepare to carry out an away match against Burnley on Saturday (8/31).
