DBasia.news –  Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, also gave his analysis of the Manchester Derby between Manchester United and Manchester City at Old Trafford, in the 36th continuing Premier League, Thursday (25/4) at 2:00 a.m. WIB.

Klopp, with full confidence, said not sure the Red Devils could beat The Citizens at Old Trafford if they saw the performance of both teams at this time. Klopp’s words were implied as a form of motivation for United players as he underestimated Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s foster children.

As is known, Liverpool and Man City are involved in a fierce battle in winning the 2018-19 Premier League title. Both are currently separated by two points – Man City has one match postponed.

So, Liverpool can win if they win all the remaining matches and Man City failed once to get full points or lose. Conversely, if City wiped out all the remaining games with a victory then all of Liverpool’s victories would be useless.

City have won the 35 weeks with a score of 1-0 against Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool won 2-0 against Cardiff City. But United lost 0-4 to Everton at Goodison Park via Richarlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Lucas Digne and Theo Walcott.

Man United are not involved in the hunt for the Premier League title, however, they can determine the winner of the Premier League title. Moreover, they still have a target to try to end the season in the big four aka the Champions League zone.

However, Klopp does not seem to have confidence that United can beat Man City under Pep Guardiola’s direction with their current performance.

“That (Manchester Derby) is not something we can influence, and it looks like United also can’t do it. What is the score (United) today (against Everton)? 0-3, 0-4, against Everton?” Klopp’s sarcasm regarding United, quoted from Goal.

The German manager can only hope that the Manchester Derby will be a draw like Liverpool, who played a goalless draw at Old Trafford some time ago. Most important for Klopp, he insisted that the Reds focus on winning their match at the end of this season.

“That (Manchester Derby) is a normal match, the game they (City) have to play. We had to play that match well and Man United were at that moment, obviously, there was a better moment when we fought them and the result was 0 -0, “Klopp added.

“So, on the best day, maybe the derby will end in a draw. We will see results coming out on Wednesday, we can’t influence it, but we still have games to play after.”

“So, if United gain one point or anything and we win (against) Huddersfield Town, going to Newcastle United after the match against Barcelona and think we are only halfway or whatever, then we will get a boost there.”

“All this is challenging, we just have to stay focused on our own problems – which so far have worked very well and I see no reason why we have to change it,” added the former Borussia Dortmund coach.
