Juventus Closer to Achieveing Eight Consecutive Scudetto

DBasia.news –  The Serie A title or eight Scudetto in a row is getting closer to Juventus. They can end the competition with Napoli faster than predicted.

Thanks to ‘help’ from Empoli who won 30 Serie A giants against Napoli at Carlo Castellani Stadio on Thursday (4/4) WIB, with a score of 2-1, Juventus now only need six more points to win the Serie A title 2018-19 .

Empoli won thanks to two goals from Diego Farias (28 ‘) and Giovanni Di Lorenzo (52’) scaled down by Piotr Zielinski’s goal on the 44th minute. The day before, La Vecchia Signora won 2-0 over Cagliari through goals from Leonardo Bonucci and Moise Kean.

The distance between Juventus and Napoli is now 18 points away and Serie A 2018-19 only has eight matches left. That is, if Giorgio Chiellini and others win the next two matches against AC Milan and SPAL, then they will lock the Scudetto and the results achieved by Napoli will not affect it.

The match against Milan will take place in Turin, Saturday (6/4) at 23.00 WIB, and before competing against SPAL, Juventus will first play a Champions League quarter-final first leg against Ajax Amsterdam at Johan Cruyff Arena, Thursday (11/4) .

Only after facing the Dutch team, Juventus will play at Paolo Mazza Stadion, the SPAL headquarters, Saturday (13/4) at 20.00 WIB.

On paper, Juve became the winner’s favorite against Milan and SPAL. Nevertheless, the two matches can be categorized as a challenging match, as either Milan or SPAL still have targets to pursue.

If Juve, supposedly, can still lock the Serie A title in the other remaining matches, Milan are still pursuing many points to secure a place in the Champions League zone (Milan are in fourth place) and away from the pursuit of Atalanta, Lazio, Roma and Torino.

While SPAL, as long as they have not won 40 points – safe points from the relegation zone, then Leonardo Semplici’s team will continue to stare at the remaining matches as if the match is to end. SPAL is currently in 15th place with 32 points, five points adrift of Bologna which is 18th.
