DBasia.news – Juventus were beaten 2-0 by Atletico Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League. Two Juventus legends intervened and gave criticisim.
Andrea Pirlo and Alessandro Del Piero feels that Juventus have no desire to win when they traveled to Wanda Metropolitano Stadium. Two goals from Jose Gimenez and Diego Godin were proof that the Old Lady was not ready to become a champion.
“I see a team without personality or desire to play. “You have to face pressure and give everything you have if you want to win the Champions League,” Andrea Pirlo said.
The player who gave four Serie A titles for Juve has regretted the attitude of his former club.
“Juventus has no character or desire to do many things. They are more happy to sit, wait and think how they can score goals, “Pirlo said.
In line with Pirlo, Del Piero also made criticism that was no less saucy. The player who drove the Old Lady to become the Champions League champion in 1996 saw a significant difference between Juventus and Atletico Madrid.
“The games were played in two different tempos. Atletico Madrid have the tempo of the Champions League and Juve are one step behind, “Del Piero said.
