DBasia.news –  Juventus’ failure to advance far in the Champions League has made management move quickly to make changes next season. Sky Sports Italia reported, Bianconeri are eyeing Antonio Conte’s return.

Juventus were surprisingly eliminated from the Champions League 2018-2019. I Bianconeri were beat 2-3 on aggregate from the dark horse team, Ajax, in the quarter-finals.

Although president Andrea Agnelli said Massimiliano Allegri’s future was safe, rumors of a change in coaches blew hard. Allegri is considered unable to lead Juventus to win the Champions League.

According to media in Italy, Juventus’ seniors have contacted Antonio Conte. They asked about the availability of the former Italian national team coach in the summer.

When contacted, Antonio Conte did claim to be returning to coaching in the 2019-2020 season. However, he did not know what team he would handle.

“To be honest, I don’t know what team to deal with until now. Surely I will choose the club that has the most convincing project,” Antonio Conte said.

Antonio Conte himself is not a new name at Juventus. Conte is the former captain of Bianconeri and was a coach in the 2011 to 2014 period.

At present, Antonio Conte is in the status of unemployment. Conte was sacked by Chelsea in the summer of 2018 to be replaced by Maurizio Sarri.

Apart from Juventus, a number of other clubs have been linked with Antonio Conte. These include AS Roma and Inter Milan.
