DBasia.news –  Juventus are reportedly interested in recruiting two Barcelona players, Juan Miranda and Ivan Rakitic. Fabio Paratici, Juventus Sports Director, is currently in Barcelona.

Reporting from Marca, Paratici had been in Barcelona for two days and has offered Emre Can, Mario Mandzukic, and Daniele Rugani, to Barcelona so they would release Juan Miranda and Ivan Rakitic.

Streamlining the squad is indeed a priority for Bianconeri’s transfer this time. All three names were included in the club’s selling list. Despite already having a large stock of players in the midfield, Juventus are still eyeing Rakitic because of his quality and playing experience.

Moreover, the 31-year-old midfielder had won the Champions League in the 2014-15 season – the Champions League is the title dreamed of by Juventus. Therefore, Juve is willing to release Mandzukic or Can as part of Rakitic’s transfer.

Meanwhile, regarding Juan Miranda, Juventus wants a left back who can supervise while competing with Alex Sandro, after lending Luca Pellegrini to Cagliari. Miranda, 19, a La Masia product who is in demand by many European clubs.

The chance for Miranda to add playing hours at Barca is also challenging. As Barcelona already has two left backs: Jordi Alba and new players from Real Betis, Junior Firpo. Juventus had tried to offer more playing time for the 2019 U-19 European Cup champion.

For the sake of bringing in Miranda, Juventus allegedly did object in giving Daniele Rugani, who also had difficulty in competing at the club following the arrival of Merih Demiral and Matthijs de Ligt.
