Juventus Wins, Allegri Relieved

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Juventus finally won their first win in Serie A 2021-2022 after overthrowing Spezia 3-2, at the Stadio Alberto Picco, Wednesday (22/9). However, there is one big gap that can be seen from the Bianconeri’s victory.

The victory achieved by Juventus was not easy. Juve took the lead through Moise Kean (28′) before Emmanuel Gyasi equalized in the 33rd minute. In fact, in the second half, Spezia turned to lead through the action of Janis Antiste in the 49th minute.

Juve, who continued to pound Spezia’s defense, finally grabbed the first three points after Federico Chiesa (66′) and Matthijs de Ligt (72′) scored. La Vecchia Signora is now crawling to 13th position in the standings.

However, behind the positive results, Juve also have one homework that must be completed if they want to keep their chances of winning. The reason is, this is the first time Juve have conceded at least eight goals in their opening five Serie A matches since the 2010-2011 season. In fact, in the last 60 seasons-including this time-Juve only twice.

Massimiliano Allegri did not deny that Juve still have a lot of homework to do. “Fortunately we got the win by suffering. Otherwise we might think we did well and there’s nothing else to do,” Allegri told DAZN.

“There are a lot of things to improve. We have players who have to do better in final passing decisions and when to shoot on target.”

Now, Allegri is trying to continue the positive results at home. According to him, Juve do not need to look at the current position.

“We do not need to look at the standings. We tried to put the first win in addition to the first at home against Sampdoria. There are players who have important qualities and need to be improved,” said the former AC Milan coach.
