DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane said he hoped to recover and be able to play in the Champions League final against Liverpool in early June. Kane expressed his desire after watching his team beat Ajax in the Champions League semi-final second leg.
Harry Kane has not been able to play since April 9 because of an ankle injury. However, Kane continued to watch his team compete at the Johan Cruyff Arena Stadium. He dissolved in euphoria when Lucas Moura’s hat-trick ensured a place for Spurs in the final.
The final will take place in Madrid in early June and Kane hopes to be able to defend Tottenham Hotspur in this important match.
“Hopefully I can recover in time. Rehab is going well so far. I started running straight this week,” Kane said.
“So far so good, we’ll see. If it goes as it should, I hope so. But, there are still a few more weeks for recovery.”
