DBasia.news – The quarter-final of Coppa Italia between Atalanta against Juventus resulted in 3-0 for Atalanta. Juve who sent their best squad including CR7 got defeated by the brace goals of Duvan Zapata and one goal from Timothy Castagne.
The Germany midfielder Sami Khedira realized that Atalanta is a difficult contender.
“Games like this can occur within a season,” Khedira said.
“Of course, it was more painful when it was a knockout match, but that would not have any consequences for our league campaign. Juve made too many mistakes and Atalanta took advantage of them, we are not eligible to qualify for the next round.”
Juventus coach Max Allegri agrees on Khedira. He thinks Atalanta is far more effective and superior in defeating La Vecchia Signora.
“I can’t criticize the players given everything they have done so far,” he said.
