DBasia.news – Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp is disappointed that his team wasted the chances against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League match.
Liverpool got a 0-2 defeat when they visit Red Star after two goals from Milan Pavkov at 22′ and 29′.
“Of course you could see that a few things are not going too well,” Klopp said.
“At half-time, we tried to change a few things and the second half was really dominant, but we didn’t score,” he said.
Klopp said if only his players could score one goal first, the situation might change.
“We had the situations of Sadio (Mane), Mo (Salah), big chances, a lot of ones that won’t count as a shot on target because we missed,” he said.
By this result, Liverpool failed to achieve the point and finish in the second position of Group B temporary standing of Champions League with six points.
