Klopp’s Comment About Manchester United and City Transfer
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, is ready to face the 2018-2019 season. However, the Germany manager thinks the rival’s power is increasing as the transfer market activity.
The Premier League transfer market has been launched a few weeks ago. Manchester United and Manchester City are using this opportunity to get a new player.
Until now, The Red Devils got two new players, Diogo Dalot and Fred. Meanwhile, Manchester City got Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City.
Jurgen Klopp believes, the new players will give an additional power. Moreover, until now, the key players of both Manchester are staying.
“Other teams, of course, will do transfer business as well. They will not be weaker than last year. City brought in (Riyad) Mahrez,” Klopp said reported by FourFourTwo.
“I did not hear that they lost one player so far. So it means the quality of last year plus Mahrez. That’s a nice plan as well,” the manager added.
“United will go for it, too, and that’s completely normal. We expect more from ourselves. We will go again for the championship and each kind of cup but that does not mean I can sit here and we will get it. We have the highest ambitions, 100 per cent.”
Compared to the Manchester, Liverpool’s movement in the transfer market is massive. So far, The Reds spent more than 150 million euro to get 4 new players, Alisson Becker, Fabinho, Naby Keita, and Xherdan Shaqiri.
