The press conference was emotional because Leicester are still grieving from the incident with 5 death victims. As concerned, Vichai’s helicopter was involved in an incident after the match between Leicester against West Ham United last weekend at King Power Stadium.
The helicopter lost the control when departed and fell in the stadium parking area. Vichai’s death was a grieving moment for the club, also the football in England, Europe, and also worldwide. For those who knew him, Vichai is a generous and kind person.
Leicester manager Claude Puel gave the tribute to Vichai during the press conference. The businessman from Bangkok isn’t just loved by Leicester fans, but also British people due to his friendliness.

“This has been without a doubt one of the hardest weeks in the history of this football club. The tragic loss of five lives has left us numb and in shock and our prayers and love remain with Vichai’s family and with the all of the families who have lost a loved one,” Puel told Goal.
“Vichai made Leicester City into what it is. He made it a family and made a dream. He invested in the club, the city and he invested in the people. He truly was loved by everyone inside and outside the club. He leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered forever.”
In honor to Vichai in raising the club, Leicester must move on and play amid the hard moment.
“Playing football has not been on our minds this last week but for this weekend and all matches after we will play to honor and remember a man who did so much for our club,” Puel insisted.
Since taking over the share of Leicester in 2010, slowly Vichai raised the club from the promotional team to be one of the top Premier League teams. The climax of his hard work happened when they won the 2015-2016 Premier League.
