DBasia.news – Leicester City will give honor to the former club owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, by building a statue outside King Power Stadium, England. The owner died in a helicopter crash next month.
The Thailand billionaire died on October 27th with four other people when his private helicopter fell next to the stadium after the match.
Vichai’s son, Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha decided to build a statue as the personal commemoration announced to all fans.
“We will never be able to repay what he did for us – for me as his son, us as his family, everyone connected to Leicester City and beyond – but we are committed to honoring his memory and upholding his legacy,” Aiyawatt stated.
“I plan to commission a statue of my father, for outside King Power Stadium, as a permanent and fitting tribute to the man that made it all possible.”
“He will forever be in our hearts. He will never be forgotten.”
