DBasia.news – The Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park, Everton’s headquarters, ended in a goalless draw between the hosts and Liverpool in the 29th week of the Premier League, Sunday (3/3) evening WIB. Liverpool also failed to return to the top of the standings occupied by Manchester City.
Failure to win over the Toffees ensures that Jurgen Klopp’s side are one point behind their competitors, with nine matches remaining before the end of the 2018/19 season.
Despite losing momentum in the competition for the Premier League title, the Reds defender, Andrew Robertson, confirmed that his team would continue to struggle after getting negative results in two of the three important matches they faced in domestic competition.
“We will continue to fight until the end of the season. Now we will pursue them and the pressure is on Manchester City, “Andrew Robertson said in a statement quoted by Reuters.
“We must continue to feel confident, show a positive attitude. We will try to maintain focus in every match we play and there are still nine games left until the end of the season, so we will continue to strive, “added Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson in relation to the draw obtained by his team at Goodison Park.
