Liverpool Continue to Give Pressure to Manchester City After Handling Bournemouth

DBasia.news –  Liverpool maintain Anfield’s awesomeness in the 26th Premier League weekend. After entertaining Bournemouth, Saturday (9/2) evening WIB, the Reds won a landslide score of 3-0 and added an unbeaten record at Anfield to 34 consecutive matches.

Liverpool is now collecting 65 points and  Man City will fight Chelsea at Etihad Stadium, Sunday (10/2) 23.00 WIB. The three additional points brought back Liverpool’s confidence which had previously came down after a two-match draw, against Leicester City and West Ham United.

Bournemouth played quite aggressively to serve Liverpool and were not afraid of the intimidation with supporters at Anfield. But, Liverpool did not panic and faced their pressure by keeping the focus in the defensive phase.

In the end, the individual quality of the player opened the tap to Liverpool’s goals at Anfield on the 24th minutes. Sadio Mane headed James Milner’s cross ball from a set piece situation. Liverpool lead 1-0.

The five minutes additional time in the second half ended. No more goals were created at Anfield. Liverpool won with a landslide score of  3-0 against The Cherries – Bournemouth’s nickname.
